The Christmas Market has once again visited Wrocław.
We can say that everything has remained the same except for the fact that a new Christmas tree has appeared on the market. The huge tree has caused a lot of controversy due to the price for which the city bought it. The amount is considerable, reaching almost 1 million złoty. The consolation is the fact that the price includes its exhibition this year and next. Was it worth it? Opinions are divided. I think it looks nice, definitely better than the previous Christmas tree. It looks great in the photos, but probably even better in real life, especially after the Christmas lights are turned on. Anyway, judge for yourself by watching the photos from this short photo report.
Video from Christmas Market you can watch here.
The Wrocław Christmas tree standing in the market square at dusk with its lights on looks dazzling.
Wooden houses, windmills, all architecture is very nicely lit.
There are plenty of attractions for children here, colorful houses, carousels, rollercoasters.
At the fair, as you can see, we can eat well. The hot dog with sausage is really big, because for the price of 40 PLN it has to be. In addition, the menu includes typical Polish dishes such as bigos, as well as standards such as fries, potatoes, meat, and all kinds of sweets or alcohol such as mulled wine.
A slice of bread with lard on a large slice of bread, with pickled cucumber and cracklings. A classic. There are several types, the one shown in the photo seems to be the largest of them.
A Christmas tree without any lights doesn’t look so nice, does it?
At the fair you can buy all kinds of souvenirs, gifts, decorations, and toys.
You can also take a photo with the ice queen while sitting on the sleigh next to her.
Unfortunately, these are all the photos from my visit to the Wrocław market during Christmas this year, or at least I chose the best ones. It is possible that I will go there again and take a few new shots. In that case, I will add them to this entry. If we do not see each other this year, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2025.
What is your opinion about the fair in Wrocław? Let me know!
